There’s also evidence pointing to the return of classic perks. Instrumentals associated with the perk jingles for Mule Kick and Tombstone appear in the credits for Black Ops 7, strongly implying both perks are still in development. Their return would add more strategic depth to loadouts that currently feel limited.

Even small gameplay adjustments are influencing the community experience. The combat roll assist setting, for example, completely removes the danger of fall damage when set to Always. Meanwhile, Casemir devices continue to cause unpredictability, including a bizarre bug that can teleport players back into the boss arena even after the fight is finished.

Black Ops 7 Zombies is filled with innovation, ambition, and an active player base that wants the game to thrive. While difficulty tuning is urgently needed, the community’s passion is undeniable — and with Season 1 on the horizon, the mode is poised for meaningful evolution.
